Well, Thanksgiving is here and people are busy preparing for and celebrating the holiday. Wherever you are today, I ask that you join me in giving thanks. I want this time with you to be about practicing gratitude. I am grateful for the opportunity to write and share with you things that are important to me. I am grateful to offer this blog as a place that might be of support and gift you with a remembrance of who you are. I am grateful to be in a position to use my path as a tool for guidance of others.
I am grateful for my life. I am grateful for my husband, my children and grandchildren. I am grateful for my mother and brother being in my life. I am grateful for the many ways that I am called to be present with and for others. I am grateful for being alive and my health. I am grateful for my sight and ability to hear. I am grateful for music and that I can sing and dance. I am grateful for the sun and the moon. I am grateful for the rain and the snow. I am grateful for the animals and the plants. I am grateful for all religions. I am grateful for all people. I am grateful for the many people on this planet dedicated to service. I am grateful for the ancient wisdom that flows eternally in support of humanity. I am grateful for grace. I am grateful for love. I am grateful for kindness. I am grateful for rest. I am grateful for authenticity and generosity.
Please take some precious moments and acknowledge the things that you are grateful for today. If we all do this, we will seed the universe with our joy and it will make a difference.
The wonderful singer/songwriter Jack Fowler wrote a beautiful and simple song about gratitude. I leave you with his words and invite you to stand in gratitude for this beautiful and amazing life.
Grateful, Grateful…I am grateful
For all that I have
All that I am
I am grateful
I’m so grateful
Please affirm with me: Today, I simply give thanks and allow that to be enough.
